I am a Physiotherapist who is passionate about Rehabilitation – which comes from the Latin – to make fit again. The loss of “fitness” may be due to injury, illness or disease. Rehabilitation Physiotherapy is the restoration of someone to good health or constructive life, through therapy and education.

Hydrotherapy plays an important role in Rehabilitation Physiotherapy. We offer a heated pool with hoist.
At my practice in Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal, we see people whose lives have been affected by spinal cord injuries, neurological problems, orthopaedic injuries, stroke, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, arthritis, cancer, cardiac disease, and chronic pain.
Each rehabilitation program is tailored to the individual patient’s needs and can include one or more types of therapy. We offer on site physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, occupational therapy and wound care and liaise with speech therapists, orthotists, prosthetists, biokineticists and podiatrists. Clients spend between 1 and 3 hours at my practice on a regular basis – up to three times a week. It requires hard work and dedication to regain lost function after severe trauma.
Our vision is to have a centre of excellence, focusing on rehabilitation physiotherapy and offering treatment on the most advanced equipment – go to my equipment page to see what we have. The latest arrival is the RT 600 FES Stepper which is at the forefront of treatment for those with spinal cord injury, stroke and traumatic brain injury.
